About MacNeil Homes

While the company is new, the principals behind MacNeil Homes combine to bring over thirty-five years of homebuilding experience to the Charlotte Metro area.

Company Chief Executive Officer, Anita MacNeil began her homebuilding career as a CPA, working as Chief Financial Officer for a recently formed home building company. The owner groomed her to run the company and she quickly was promoted to Executive Vice President and subsequently became an owner and General Manager. Under her management, the company delivered over 1,000 homes in major metropolitan areas in North and South Carolina, receiving numerous awards including Home of the Year as recognized by Professional Builder Magazine and consistent top customer satisfaction ratings.

After the sale of the company and the fulfillment of her non-compete agreement, MacNeil joined with former co-workers and trade partners to form MacNeil Homes, LLC in January, 2006.

MacNeil has an undergraduate degree in accounting from Appalachian State University and an MBA from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.

MacNeil is a past board member and treasurer for the Carolina Custom Builder’s Guild and currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Home Builder’s Association of Charlotte. Recently, MacNeil was honored as Distinguished Builder of the Year by the Association which consists of over 700 member firms.

Broadway’s professional experience includes several years experience as an account manager for local, regional and national builders with a combined sales volume of over $300 million. Broadway was also the founder and President of a successful real estate brokerage firm. The agency was sold to Flouhouse/McClave, the predecessor company to Coldwell Banker United. Broadway then joined the Allen Tate Company where she worked as a Realtor. While at Coldwell and Tate, Broadway’s sales volume consistently ranked in the top 5% nationally.
